The Sikh Forum Kolkata (Formerly All India Sikh Students Federation) has long been dedicated to the noble cause to rekindle the spirit of SIKHISM amongst Sikh Youth and to help them to lead a Gurmat Inspired way of life as enshrined in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Organization is run by the team of dedicated Sewadars with its Office at SIKH YOUTH HALL, 18/62 Dover Lane, Kolkata 700029. Activities are focused on the grooming of Sikh Youth in every field as per Gurmat. The Sikh Forum Kolkata hasbeen organizing the Gurmat Activities throughout the year. Sunday Diwan is organized by Youth at Sikh Youth Hall and other places of Kolkata. Sikh Youth in large number attend the classes to learn Shabad Keertan,Tabla, Gurmukhi Script, Gurbani Paath, Sikh History, Turban Tying and Lecture. Competitions are organised during Gurpurabs, of Gurbani Keertan, Lecture, Spot Quiz Contest, Sohni Dastar Sajaoni, Sit & Draw, Sundar Likhayee etc. Annual Competition of Bhai Mardana Inter School Gurbani Gayen Muqabla is Organised in which students of different Schools participate for which Running Trophy is the main attraction apart from other attractive prizes. To Motivate the Students for Higher Education “Inspiration” an Education Motivational Programme is organized in the prominent Auditoriums in which distinguished motivational speakers address the students. A National level week long Gurmat Sikhya Camp is Organised during Puja Holidays. Awareness Camps for Scholarship and other Schemes of Minorities are Organised in which all type of assistance is provided by our dedicated members. These all projects cannot be successfully executed without the Blessings of Akal Purakh. Gurdwara Commitees and Sikh Sangat is our main support, for the uninterrupted continuation of these programmes. This Website is dedicated to S. Khajan Singh Ji, who played marvellous role for arranging Gurmat Sikhya Camps to inculcate Sikh values among the Sikh students and youth. In recognition of his great contribution, he was posthumously awarded as "Ambassador of Sikhism"
